The History of NX Racing

NX Racing was formed in February 2007 by riders who are passionate about racing and dedicated to building a high profile in state and national cycling arena. As a fully insured and “not for profit” sporting team structured with the support of NXsports.

In 2008 our Junior Development Squad (Nxgen) was created to support athletes who are serious about their sport but perhaps require management and/or financial assistance. These juniors have consistently delivered convincing results in State and National Championships as well as on the world stage.

Through its members & sponsors: DWBH Homewares, Coorparoo Dental Clinic and Hollingworth & Spencer Lawyers. NX Racing has expanded its team focus. These members have committed a significant financial investment for the Team’s development. The Team will remain a racing and social team of approximately fifty passionate athletes managed by an elected committee with the support of NXsports but with specific goals including, structured high-performance training, achieving sporting success and mentoring the junior development program.
